Before you order

Ask us for a ring sizer. We send them to anyone who asks, with our compliments, and you need not have bought anything.

It is a small thing and it saves a great deal. Fingers change through the day and through the year, a wide band sits differently from a narrow one, and a knuckle can be wider than the finger beneath it. A sizer settles all of it before a piece is ever made.

If the size is wrong

Send it back and we will put it right.

The first time is with our compliments, within thirty days of the piece reaching you. After that, we go on sizing your ring for as long as you own it, and our work is never charged. Where gold has to be added, we quote it before we begin.

Most sizing costs nothing at all, because most rings go down rather than up.

When we size a ring down

The gold we take out comes back with it. It was yours.

How far a ring will move

A size up, or a size down. Sometimes only one of the two.

It depends on the piece. A plain shank is generous; a shank set with stones has very little metal to spare, and stretching it would pull the seats out of true. We would rather tell you the honest limit than promise a size we cannot reach safely.

Pieces that are made to a size

Some rings cannot be altered at all. An eternity band set the whole way round, a shank laid with pavé, a stone held under tension.

These are not lesser pieces. They are simply made to a size, and if the size changes we rebuild the shank rather than stretch it. Where a piece is made this way, we say so before you buy it, never afterwards.

Sending it to us

Inside Riyadh, we come to you. Anywhere else, we send you a label, insured and paid for, in both directions.

From the moment the piece leaves your hands, it is our responsibility.

One thing to know

A piece that has been sized has been made for you, and it can no longer be returned or exchanged for a change of mind.

If you are still deciding, size later rather than sooner. We will always say this to you before we begin.
